Jenna and John’s professional lives leave them little free time, much less the time needed to plan and design their dream wedding. So we came on board right from the start and found them the perfect venue: the much sought-after Black Swan Lake. This private estate boasts true Tuscan elegance without leaving California. We love its rolling vineyards, weeping willows around the lake, sandstone pathways, rose gardens, and overall charm.

The couple’s goal was to use the raw beauty of Black Swan Lake with a juxtaposition of soft colors and a hint of modern design. John let us know that he was most concerned with the guest experience, and we assured him that each element would have a purpose. For example, the escort boxes not only inform guests on where to sit during dinner but also held hand-selected, all-white props for the late-night silent disco. The guests were instantly transported to an elevated Burning Man-type party to cap off the refined ceremony and elegant dinner reception. It was truly a magical day that is hard to forget.
