NAPA NUPTIALS AT BLACK SWAN
When I first met John and Jenna I loved their warm vibe, adventurous spirit and infectious love for each other. John was very big on creating experiences, so we knew we needed to make sure their guests would have a blast and be wowed at every turn.
After our tour of Black Swan in Napa the couple knew it was the perfect venue for their wedding. The breathtakingly beautiful property was the inspiration for a romantic, modern design with touches of edgy.
For the ceremony we decided to let the natural beauty of the lake and weeping willow trees really stand out. We pulled in Charlotte from Charlotte & Daughters to create the most gorgeous, full, romantic floral arrangements to flank the couple during the ceremony. As they walked down the aisle electric violinist Shaina played the most beautiful songs.
After the ceremony guests made their way through the vineyard to the lower level backyard where they enjoyed Jalapeño Margaritas and Whiskey Smashes. During cocktail hour guests found gift boxes with their table number on the label and hand selected all white props for the late night silent disco.
Soon guest were invited to the upper lawn and pool area for dinner where they dined under the trees and strung bistro lights. The table design focused on romance with an edge. Blush velvet linens covered each table accented by black bistro chairs. Marble chargers and blush napkins were the perfect juxtaposition of modern and romantic. Rose gold flatware framed the charger topped with an edgy black menu. Centerpieces of seasonal flowers with lots of texture filled the table. Nude candles created a warm glow as the sun set over the vineyard. The party went late into the night with a silent disco after the bands performance.
